"True teaching disturbs complacency." Harry Eyers. This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor™ V2.5

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I would have liked to have met Edward R. Murrow, Anais Nin, Richard Feynman, Eleanor Roosevelt, Frank Zappa and Camille Claudel. Unfortunately, they are dead. Now I want to meet Harry Eyres over a long, slow dinner.Oh yes...I'd love meeting Patricia Barber...and listen to her sing. Her song is on my site. Sit back and listen.I'm currently into what may be called "Retro or Victorian Goth." That's NOT punk! It's a San Francisco style of Goth that incorporates the mystery and lore of a previous era. Check out the Edwardian Ball. That's Edward...as in Edward Gorey.I'd also like to meet people who good music, conversation, fine food, theatre, concerts and hanging out...and painting the town red...and purple. My "personal space time" is on an airplane. I read. I read a lot. Never tell me you can't learn from reading. You are what you know. It is something no one can take from you.

What makes us sad

Trust

The mess caused by a former staff member (from the athletic department) has blown over. I’ve learned from it. Blind trust in a group is naive. So, personal e-mail goes only to those I know well....

The rebellious, the restless and the just plain silly.

Independent thinkers...I love them. I'm drawn to the rebellious, the restless, the novel and the witty. I understand the draw of danger, living on the edge and raw creativity. But here's what I ...
