i love how myspace is turning into facebook. but anyways.
hellooo i'm laura. hmm well for starters, i live on long island, and going to be a senior. i play softball yet hate it for the coaches are.. and well, its the lesbian sport in my school basically. so next year im not doing softball, yet doing more things to further myself. im excited for the year to come. im going to start my portfolio for fidm or other colleges. i want to try new things, and meet more people for my day everday is alittle mediocre. it basically includes a dunkin run, myspace, "family dinner", myspace, friends.
i love going into the city, thankfully its only an hour by train. ive been there a million times but every time i go, i seem to learn more and more. and yes i know i need to get a job. but when that happens im saving money getting a big ol' camera and travel.
what makes me unique is my ability of adapting. a key thing people must learn is to adapt, thankfully i can so easily. if i had a chance to live in africa in a 10 foot tent for 2 weeks i completely would. alot of people would worry about how they dont have there stuff and its cold, and the nearest mall is 100,000 miles away. i love that i can not think about things liek that, and enjoy the fact that im in an unfamiliar place. i rather explore and discover than be a couch potato.
i dont want to have one career. i want to be known for many things. i want to write a song with piano. design clothes. raise money for the needy. take pictures for a gallery. and at the end, write a "life journey" book to not only show the efforts, yet encourage those lazy asses that watch life go by through a window.
