Miles B a 23 year old, born in Louisville, KY the west end, 39th & Broadway. Growing up with the intentions of two inspirations, athlete and music. Proceeding athletics and, music, Miles B was like a 1 big fan. At the age of fourteen moved to Oldham co, when family received a blessing to move. After seeing the actions the streets influenced Miles B. This where 1996-98 when Louisville KY, violence where recorded at an all time high.
Coming up listening to Rap, Jazz, R&B, Oldies, Classical. OC (short for Oldham County) brought a new vision of music, Rock, Pop Heavy Metal, Country etc. this made him love all music. As OC became home, Miles B looks at life as two sided. “Painting himself in a picture†of the lyrics from the Ghetto Boys. U can take a N***A out the ghetto, but u can’t take the Ghetto out a N***A. Combining OC living where really no violence happens, with 39th street living, and making a blend of the two worlds.
When year 2001 came around Miles B made it official by starting Big Thangs Ent. After producing his first song called “Wild Chickens†featuring local friends. The year 2003 Miles B went off to college at (Western KY). Miles B met a friend from Memphis Tenn. (Orange Mond) named Shaun G. who was ‘seriously killing’ lyrically.
The intent to make Shaun G, the first solo member of Big Thangs Ent. When Miles B produced beats/songs for Shaun G. Receiving “PUB†(publicty) by getting songs played in clubs from DJ support. Miles B got hit with bad news. Shaun G. had to return back home to Memphis for personal reasons.
That next semester Miles B knew that his “click†where “THEM DUDES†on campus. Combined his click and started promoting Big Thangs Ent. college parties. 1ST party “SOLD OUT’, ratio 10/5. Girl’s takeover lol… shout out too DJ Scooby/ DJ Slick for DJ’s on the 1’s and 2’s for Big Thangs Ent parties. 2004-05 on the football team at WKU. Balancing school and making money with parties. School grades slip just enough for the head coach to tell Miles B, get your grades back up and come back on the team.
After heart breaking news Miles B moved to Lexington KY, to pursue more education. Miles B then started to record more music with a friend, Big Dorrel. “Classics†he calls them lol… At this time Miles B really got the feel for his own music knowing this is what he wanted to do.
In 2006 Miles B moved back to his hometown of Louisville, KY when he received a job offer with Black Bull Ent. Group, as a manager. Not really feeling the talent of the artist. Miles B received a demo from a friend, and then formed a group called the Primetymers. Also a solo artist named Chad D under Big Thangs Ent. The future was looking great with these guys, “smashing†show after show. Then things came to a close. No comment! “Shouts out to them guysâ€.
So here we are Miles B! doing his “Thang†fully committed and focused. No excuses, no regrets! I’M READY!
