I know this may sound cheesy for those of you who havent experienced this, but I want to me my grandfather agian. His name is Jacob Johannesen or "Poppy" as I called him. He died in August 2006. I feel more than lucky to have had him in my life. He was a man everyone wanted to be like. I'm so very lucky that I have a fiance' who embodies all of his wonderful qualities.
I love music period. I love hip hop, preferably original beats. If you can show me something new then I'm difinately listening. I like alot of the early 90s anything, I'm sooo generational. I love the sound of guitar and piano. I love rock when it's coming from my friends, other than that I stick to alot of R&B.
I'm easy at entertainment. I think a movie really makes or brakes itself depending on the company you have. I do have a few faves, mostly becasue they bring back good memories with friends or family, oh yeah and some good acting in a few of them... Shawshank Redemption, Sneakers, Robin Hood (with Kevin Costner), Carlito's Way, Scar Face, Napolean Dynomite, SLC Punks, When Harry Met Sally, Beaches, South Park, Super Troopers, Wedding Crashers, Thelma and Louise, Interview with a Vampire, The Gods Must be Crazy, True Lies, Sixteen Candles, Dane Cook on DVD (that counts right?)...crap theres so many, as you can see my interest include a wide range of rockin film.
Anyone who knows me, knows i loooooove LAW & ORDER. Other good shows.. ER, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, South Park, The Daily Show, Gotta love the new reality series about Hugh Hefners gf's, AMerican Idol, anything on TLC and HGTV and I'm also a VH1 and MTV junky, but only for back ground niose while I clean becasue you can't seriously sit down and watch that sh*t. But to tell truth, I have absolutely no time to watch TV .
This is a rad question becasue very recently I've been able to dive back into books and I'm sooo my mom when I say this but " I dig books". I really looooove Janet Evanovich books! Take a kick-butt chick bounty hunter that has more luck than skill, lots of inept criminals, a crazy family and two seriously hot men fighting for her attetion, it makes a great read, I'm bustin up just thinking about it. I also like John Grisham, Michael Crichton, throw in some Dr Seus, and "How DO Dinosaurs Say Goodnight" (I have a son) and that about rounds out my reading experience as of lately.
Ofcourse my mom! She is the smartest, most compassionate, patient and understaning women I've ever met. I'm so lucky. My Girl, April. I dont have words big enough to descirbe her, I'll settle with Gourgeous, Brilliant, Caring, and Selfless. Thank youMy son...ok ok ok, he's 4 years old, yes but I've never learned so much from one person in my whole life. He is so hopeful and positive, strong and loving. I want to be just like him when I grow up.
