I loved DJ's sinds I started to listen to rap music in the early 80's. Jam Master J was my favorite DJ. I loved Rap DJ's because of the mixing and scratching. I was amazed how fast DJ's good mix records. I always wanted to be a DJ. In the year 1996 I made from my desk a DJ Desk: 1 mixer, two turn tables and one CD player. I first got into Hardcore Rave music (now as wel called Old School). In 1998 I switched to the more happy sounds of House, Techno, Hard House, Hard Techno and Trance. To get experience I started to DJ in hughe clothing stores in Holland that had an erea where you could buy all kinds of funky clothes. What better way to buy funky clothes when I was rocking the funky beats, haha! I also got myself into DJ competitions to get the real experiences in clubs and to learn from other DJ's. Those were awesome expereinces and I had learned a lot from them.
Unfortally moving to Canada, getting divorced put a big stop on it. I did got married again and moved to Minnesota. Erika, my sweetheart, is really supportive of me being a DJ. So I bought a new DJ set pulled out my old records and started to practice again. Now I just need to find a club to get going. But I can tell you one thing: DJ KKDO will be coming to your town!
