I guess I'll update the about me...its been a while. The weather is messing with my head...and for the first time, I actually had to deal with snow this year! Yep, I am officially helpless when I get my car stuck on Mass Ave. That was a sad day(Valentine's Day) Though, after spending four years at The Harid Conservatory in Boca, I am so happy to be in a place that has at least two seasons and a touch of spring and fall:) I love making beautiful things, and my newest pursuit of real estate has allowed me to be creative and help people make a beautiful place thier own (I'm very positive, i know...a whole bunch of frustration comes in this business too. I chose not to dwell on that:) I have just welcomed two roommates into my house...and I must say its going very well, and I don't know how I would ever live by myself again. Mallory and I are two peas in a pod; we are not sisters (or twins...as we've been named once or twice. I do not know why) but we might as well be, and I love having her in my house now! I love (in no particular order) decorating, flowers, ballet, God, friends, family, fall, spring, winter(I'm making up for lost winters in Florida), Christmas, Thanksgiving, windows(I've got a thing for windows, weird) , peonies, hydrangeas, did I say ballet, wood shingled houses, Maine, Boston, my house, Home home(The heart of dixie, Huntsville,AL), change, reading Pride and Prejucide, black and white photos, antiques, Seaside FL,mountains, Mal's and Mer's mixed CD's (they make me feel cool...thanks Mer for G-Love, and Mal for Ray Lamontagne. If this is beginningto sound like an acceptance speech for some award...that'd be correct. This girl...always winning; jk) and apples (my favorite food).(if you've read this far...thats way more than I would've good job:) God has planted me in a ballet company again. More than I could have imagined would happen...that I would get to dance again. I am excited that I am just able to take class. Everything else is a bonus. I appreciate the drive of these people to give Indianapolis some culture for cryin' out loud. (we say that in Alabama) Ballet is an awesome art and discipline, and I really wish that it would be appreciated here just a tiny fraction of the way it is respected in Russia. I would write more on the subject, but I just come across as bitter. I'll spare you:)
I am so blessed with a great group of friends; a true family exists in our house churchs where we (most of the time) cut the crap and get down to what is really going on in our lives in addition to studying God's word. It is a something that doesn't happen with very many people, and I love that I'm part of a church that does that. In a word: Genuine.
So, I go on my way...excited to see what God has in store for me, and even more eager to find the contentment that comes with living a life based on the bigger picture (yes, I am not all there is to live for. I found that out real fast:) I choose joy!
