I'm a girl from Taiwan. Yes, that's the country where NY Yankees' "Mr. Reliable" comes from. Chien-Ming Wang is truly our pride here in Taiwan.
I was born and raised in Taipei. It's a crowded small city. If you got a chance to visit here, there are a lot of places to go. Taipei 101, Yang-Ming Mountain, night markets, 24hr bookstore...and you must try those Taiwanese snacks!
Well, I'm not writing for Lonely Planet. Let me introduce myself a bit. I live with my parents and my younger brother. I'm shy in a way; I'm not sociable. I only have some friends, but they're all my good friends. I became a Christian when I was 20; I also fell in love with movies almost at the same time.
I majored in biology when I was in college, but now I teach English at a language school here in Taipei. However, I still have a dream about making movies. That's why I spend a lot of time watching movies; I use my way to learn how to make them.
I love sports. Rugby is my favorite, although it's not that popular in Taiwan, and I don't really play it. I like baseball very much. The best games certainly come from MLB. I also like basketball. It used to be my favorite, but now it's only the third. lol
I guess that's all I want to say now. Anybody interested in visiting Taiwan?
