She's fast enough for you........old man

About Me

I'm 26 though I sometimes feel so much older, and I live in Thanet. I have a beard and so therefore all beards are cool. I have tattoos and so therefore all tattoos are cool (except gay ones that people clearly haven't thought about like 'a pony on my hip'). My friends are my life (you know who you are) and I love to go out down the pub when payday allows it. I go to gigs and love seeing bands live - especially ones I would normally never listen to. Went to my first Download earlier this year, a totally new experience for me. Will be there next year. I'm a very social person and am happiest when I'm with those I love. I'm always up for meeting new people so if you fancy a chat, just add me.

As mentioned already I love getting tattooed and the whole creativity and inspiration behind it all. All my ink is done by George at Inks and Steel. He's a great bloke and knows his needles! www.inksandsteel.com

My Interests

I love my rock and my metal, my films, keeping Lake Malawi cichlids and my all my friends. I enjoy going to Brands Hatch whenever I can especially to watch the BTCC. I also like to do a bit of painting every now and again when my mood lets me. I'm a dab hand at tattoo design too so if you ask nicely I might do you one.

I'd like to meet:

Real and genuine people who have similar interests and enjoy having a laugh. I would also be very humbled if given the chance to meet Metallica, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, Selene from Underworld, Jeremy Clarkson, Chuck Norris, Bill Bailey - the list goes ever on!

Music:

Metallica, Dreamtheater, Killswitch Engage, Nightwish, Iron Maiden, A Perfect Circle, Pink Floyd, Lamb Of God, Darkest Hour, Pantera, classic heavy metal like Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Judas Priest, a lot of cheesy 80s rock, chillout, a bit of dance and some of the classics like Mozart's Piano Sonata and Barber's Adagio. I'll listen to most things really but not a listener of hip/hop or RnB unless it's v catchy.

Movies:

Huge 80s teen movies fan (I am an 80s baby after all): Back to the Future, Big, Teen Wolf, The Burbs, Money Pit, Turner & Hooch, Brewster's Millions etc etc, Star Wars, Aliens, Predator, most things with Arnie. Good thrillers like Seven, Fight Club, The Departed, Collateral, Man On Fire etc. This is Spinal Tap is the 3rd funniest film ever made after Life of Brian and Hot Fuzz. Love Japanese Anime - favorites being Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Appleseed and Vampire Hunter D. Also like those Extreme Asian Films like Oldboy, Ichi The Killer etc. I have a thing for vampire and werewolf films, something with both such as Underworld I go crazy for. I'll watch almost anything really so long as Hugh Grant isn't in it - he's a complete twat and I have a photo on my mibile to prove it lol!

Television:

Top Gear, Spaced, Green Wing, CSI, Band of Brothers, Red Dwarf, Firefly, A-Team, Garth Merenghi's Darkplace, Black Books and UFC.

Books:

Harry Potter, LOTR, Day of the Triffids, 1984, Hannibal Lector series, The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons. Anything that's easy to read basically and does not require much thinking on my part!

Heroes:

I only really have two true heroes; my mum and dad. There are however lot of people that I respect and admire and have helped to shape who I am today.

I was told today that I "look strikingly like that chap from the Foo Fighters" I was touched - I mean, who would you rather be, Dave Grohl or Dave Pearce? Answers on a postcard please....

Life's Lesson

A wise person once said: "Never have any regrets - they only hold you back" I know this now to be true, I wish that I realised it a few years ago.
