WHO IS GROUNDWERKS?The promotion and marketing team of Groundwerks, Inc launched in May 2002 after discovering a weekness in the area of street promotions for independent music. We spent our first years researching the climate and the market for live entertainment and nightlife in Chicago. Now heading into our 5th year we've branched out into the Philadelphia market. Since our debut in the Midwest market, Groundwerks has promoted numerous events. Our promotional success has allowed the team the time and energy to dedicate the bulk of their work to support a core local artist base. Groundwerks sees the artist as a colleague and not a product to be bought and sold, and it is this ethic that has produced relationships with a diverse array of Chicagos hottest talent.Groundwerks lends its consulting services for progressive artistic ventures on an ongoing basis. We're dedicated to the development of underground artists that are not being adequately presented to the masses. Supported by a team of journalists, graphic artists, consulting professional, grassroots organizers and most importantly, the artists themselves, Groundwerks envisions an artistic revolution. With a strong work ethic and feet firmly planted in the underground community & beyond, Groundwerks seeks to manifest the vision of the family of artists they represent. Now is the time to build a global cipher for people worldwide who are seeking music, culture, entertainment, and more with an edge unlike the present down-stream flow you see on television and hear on radio today.
