About Me
Who is...
Charisma Potter?
Charisma Gweniviere Potter was born on July 31st, 1988, to James and Lily Potter. Her only sibling, Harry James Potter, was born 5 minutes after her. On their first Halloween, the evil Lord Voldemort visited their house at Godricks Hollow, and heartlessly murdered their parents. As they were rescued from the rubble, Harry and Charisma were separated. Harry was taken to live with their cruel Muggle relatives, while Charisma was taken to live at the castle, where she would fulfill what had been predecided for her.
As she grew up, she began playing with Draco Malfoy. They would spend many wild afternoons in his backyard, chasing each other around, climbing trees, and flying on fake brooms. As they got older, they matured to the attic, where they would "tell the future" from a crystal ball. Little did Draco know that Charisma could really see.
They began seeing each other at the age of 5, like all little children do at one point. Hands cupped, sharing juice boxes, and all cute little things like that. However, unlike normal puppy love, they lasted until her eighth birthday, possibly because they were inseperable, and possibly for other reasons. On her eighth birthday they were in his attic, and she was ball gazing and saw herself kissing George Weasley. Brushing it off, she later had a fight with Draco, and they severed ties. Out of frustration, she apparated to George's house, where they kissed and eventually began dating.
Now, since Charisma lived inside the castle, she had met the Weasley family at a young age, starting with Bill and Charlie. Eventually, she became acquainted with the entire family, but became especially close to the twins. This was why what she had seen in the crystal ball had freaked her out so much. Kissing your best friend was just gross, especially when you were eight. However, once it happened, she realized that she enjoyed it, and they remained close until her tenth birthday.
Eventually, things between them began to feel too weird, and Charisma and George went back to being best friends. As a surprise for her tenth birthday, Molly invited Charlie back to see Charisma. She was thrilled, and spent the day making herself look perfect. She looked older than she was, and when Charlie saw her, he almost didn't recognize her. They all spent the day celebrating her birthday, and by nightfall everyone was exhausted. Everyone but her. She sat out late, gazing at the stars, and Charlie crept up silently behind her and sat next to her. They flirted through a few well worded sentences, and then they kissed.
Eventually, Charlie went back to Romania, and they had to end what little they had begun in such a short time. Charisma was sad, but she knew she couldn't be sad for long; it would be pointless. She was too young to be crying over something as stupid as love. To cheer Charisma up, Molly told her that Bill was coming for her eleventh birthday. Charisma was thrilled, but she had to wait, because first she had to go over to Hogwarts to help Hagrid with her brother. At exactly 12 on their birthday, they banged down the door of a mountain cabin that her Uncle Vernon had transported them all to, and wished him a happy birthday. He didn't need to ask who she was; they looked exactly alike. Instead, he stared at her for a few moments before hugging her tightly. Hagrid and Charisma took Harry to Diagon Alley, where they purchased all his school supplies and bought him an owl. Then, they brought him back and Charisma went back to the Weasleys. By the time she got back, Bill was sitting at the table and it was time to start the festivities. There was cake, there were presents, and just like last time, there was sleep for everyone but Charisma. Just like last time, Bill crept up behind her and sat next to her. He gave her a box, which contained a gold heart on a chain. All he said was, "I heard yours was broken." That was all he needed to say, and they kissed.
For a while, things worked out. But then Bill had to go back to Egypt, and Charisma was alone again, minus the crying. She hung around Fred and George, like always, and slowly began to fall for another Weasley. Yes, another. (Is this story getting old yet? Cuz I like the way I think) Fred and George, being as mischeivous as they are, went and told him. He didn't believe them, however, and they all went to Hogwarts, Charisma still single.
Everyone was sorted into their houses, and Harry ended up in Gryffindor with Ron and Charisma. Hermione ended up there as well, but Charisma was the only one who got along with Hermione, at first. Things wouldn't change until Halloween. As the feast drew to a close, Charisma helped Percy lead the first years to their dormitory. She directed them, drove off Peeves when he tried to terrorize them, and eventually every first year was safely tucked under his or her blankets. Charisma went to sit in front of the fire, and Percy, being the sort of Prefect he was, told her she should go to bed. She came up close to him and told him no, and then he asked if what Fred and George had told him was true. She confessed it through a kiss, and then went to bed.
First year came and went. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Charisma saved the Sorcerer's Stone and defeated Voldemort, for the time being. To top it all off, they helped Gryffindor win the House Cup. The next day they found themselves on the train, leaving Hogwarts behind for three long months.
Charisma spent her summer in Diagon Alley, just wandering around it, learning all it's nooks and cranneys. Just when she thought it would get boring, wandering it by herself, she met Justin Finch-Fletchy. He was a Hufflepuff in her year, and quite cute. They spent the day catching up and eating loads of Ice Cream. Their talk got more intimate, and eventually, they kissed. Just as their lips touched, Harry and Ron showed up to ruin the fun and tell her that Molly was getting worried about her. She said goodbye to Justin until September, and ran back to The Leaky Cauldron.
When they got to Hogwarts, Charisma met up with Justin again, and soon after, they started going out. Then, because all things perfect must come to an end, the Parslemouth incident occured. Suddenly, Harry and Ron wouldn't speak to her because she wanted to remain neutral. She sat with the Hufflepuffs sadly, missing her three best friends and being unable to do anything about it. When Justin was attacked, they still wouldn't talk to her, so she spent her free time in the Hospital Wing, helping Madame Pomfry care for the Petrified. Throughout the whole ordeal, Hermione was the only one who would speak to her, and when Hermione was attacked as well, they finally broke the silence and asked her to help them. She was just happy to have her friends back, and shortly after, they rescued Ginny and defeated the Basilisk, earning them the House Cup for the second year in a row.
Eventually Justin and Charisma break things off, and she goe back to the Weasleys house for the summer. During the summer, Oliver Wood comes over a lot to see Charisma and the twins, and they spend countless hours up in the twins bedroom, making mischeif. On one particularly good day, a grand number of exploding noises could be heard through the door, and Molly called the twins down. Not wanting to get caught, they vowed to use the same excuse they always had planned for these situations. Oliver and Charisma got to talking. He could tell she was upset, but she just went on about how she was used to her constantly broken heart; it was nothing new. He told her "So then stop! I mean, it should be easy, it's not like you're scarred or anything.". She yelled back at him, "What do you know about being scarred, Oliver? You know nothing of what it's like to go around everyday like everything's fine when it's not. To walk through the halls of Hogwarts with a plaster smile on your face so nobody knows what happened to you." and eventually told him the one thing that had always been bothering her.
[WARNING: THE FOLLOWING IS A RAPE STORY. YES A RAPE STORY. I'M WELL AWARE THAT PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE OFFENDED BY IT, BUT I SPENT THREE AND A HALF YEARS ACTUALLY CREATING THIS CHARACTER, BEFORE I EVEN KNEW WHAT ROLEPLAY WAS, AND THIS IS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT PART OF THE STORY, BECAUSE IT EXPLAINS WHY SHE IS THE WAY SHE IS. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, THEN SKIP THIS PART. I WILL INFORM YOU WHEN IT'S DONE. BUT DON'T WRITE ME TELLING ME TO CHANGE IT OR TAKE IT OFF, BECAUSE I WON'T. YOU WOULDN'T WRITE TO AN AUTHOR TELLING HIM OR HER TO CHANGE THEIR NOVEL, SO DON'T DO THAT TO ME EITHER.]
Charisma takes a deep breath and tells her story. "The day before my eighth birthday, I was sitting in Draco's house. He was in the next room talking to his mum about something, I can't remember what. All I remember is that I was in his room alone, and then his father came in. He started talking to me, and I didn't think anything of it, since this was my best friends father; they talk to their son's best friends all the time. But then he started getting too close for comfort, and I jumped up. HE closed the door and put a quieting spell on it so that no one could hear what was going on inside. Then he put an illusion charm on it so that it sounded as though we were having a normal conversation. Then he threw me down on the bed, and raped me." Charisma began to cry, but choked back her tears and continued. "He raped me. How is it that I defeated the most evil wizard in existance, and yet I couldn't defend myself there?" Oliver comforted her, amazed by what he had heard. He asked if Draco knew, and she just shook her head. He hugged her tighter and kissed her forehead, not knowing what else to do. By the time Fred and George had come back, the two were sitting as though nothing had happened.
[THERE, I'M DONE BEING INSENSITIVE, BECAUSE I KNOW THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE ARE GOING TO CALL ME. IN FACT, FOR THE FEW PEOPLE WHO DO READ MY ABOUT ME, THEY PROBABLY WON'T WANT TO SPEAK TO ME, BECAUSE I WROTE ABOUT SOMETHING AS SERIOUS AS THIS AND BROUGHT IT INTO ROLEPLAY. SORRY. I'M NOT DOING THIS TO BE SOME BIG, FAT, ATTENTION WHORE. IT'S MY STORY THAT I'VE HAD WRITTEN FOR YEARS, THAT I'VE THOUGHT SERIOUSLY ABOUT PUBLISHING ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS, AND IT'S STAYING THE WAY IT IS. WARNING OVER.]
Her third year at Hogwarts starts, and while the twins are in a corner doing what they do best, she's sitting in front of the fire. Oliver comes over to her, asking how she feels, and she replies that she's fine. They continue talking, and eventually, he kisses her, just like she's always wanted.
Fred, George, Harry, Ron and Charisma are all gathered in her bedroom in the dungeon. Early on, Charisma figured out how to bewitch certain Muggle objects to get them to work. She bewitched her CD player and had Motion City Soundtrack playing. The boys fell in love with the music, and the five of them decided to start a band: Fred and George on guitar, Harry on Bass, and Ron on Drums. Charisma would be the singer.
Oliver leaves, and of course that means that they must break up, no matter how much she doesn't want to. However, he leaves her with a fine gift, a child. Although neither of them were ready for one, they weren't ready to give her up once she was born, so Charisma kept her. And her third summer away from Hogwarts began.
Fourth Year comes and goes breezily. The summer before hand she developed a crush on Cedric, and they played around a bit (nothing sexual), but when he started going out with Cho, that all stopped.
Year Five she ended up with Fred, which made sense, since she had dated almost every other Weasley. It was one of the happiest years of her life, and even when he and George left the school bravely, she still had a smile on her face. They broke things off for the time being, vowing that later they'd finish what they started.
Year Six, Charisma found herself with an old friend: Seamus Finnigan. She adored his accent, and the odd way that his eyebrows had grown back since his wand exploded in Charms in their first year. They made a cute little couple, walking to class holding hands, playing around at meal time, and everyone thought they looked really happy together. However, once Dumbledore died, Charisma realized what she had to do. She broke things off with Seamus and left Hogwarts, starting her very own search for the remaining Horcruxes. Albus had been like a father to her, and she lost him as well, all due to Voldemort. This enraged her, and she vowed to find some way to destroy him once and for all, even if it killed her.
The rest of Charisma's story is unknown, as is what happened while she was gone. All anyone knows is that one day, years later, she turned up back at the Weasleys, thinning and dirty, but smiling and looking as radiant as ever. She refused to talk about what exactly happened over there, but no one pushed her. A few days later, Fawkes came knocking on the window, with a letter in his beak.
Dear Charisma,
If you are receiving this letter, it means that I have passed on in one way or another. Even though I am no longer with you, I can give you one more present. What you are on a journey to do is more complex than anything a child your age would need to take on. You have been my most loyal student throughout all of my years at Hogwarts, and I wish to place Fawkes in your care. I know that you will love him as you once loved me, and remember, i am not really gone, for I will always be in your heart and mind.
Love always,
Albus Dumbledore
