About Me

I'm originally from Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. My husband is a SeaBee which so far has moved us from home, to San Diego, to here in Bangor, Washington. We will be here at least until November of 2009, after that, well, who knows! We have 2 children. Hayli is 4 with an attitude of a 16 year old. Hunter is 20 months and a very happy kid for the most part, unless you try to take away his food. We also have a black lab named Jake, he's 10 months old and is super lazy. I have met some amazing friends along the way. I miss my friends and family back home and super-love the ones who've bothered to stay in touch. I am done with the first part of school. Until I completely finish, I work in the Deli at the commissary here on base, and also volunteer at the Dental Clinic here on base. I like to hang out, relax and have a drink..I'm the one you'll find filling the shot glasses!! I seem to have a sleeping disorder..I sleep about 3 hours a night, sometimes not even that. My husband is awesome and spoils me. I don't think I'm like other women..I hate shopping, spending money, and would prefer to be out 4wheeling over flowers any day! I like to hang out with the elderly. They have the best stories and more wisdom than most people. I hate Alzheimer's and the sadness it brings to people. I think I might have a slight case of OCD. I love the smell of bleach and knowing that my house isn't just clean, it's sterile! I'm trying to make sure my kids learn something new everyday. ..

My Interests

I like to learn new things and figure out how things work. I like being outside on warm days. Watching my children grow just amazes me. Hanging out with friends, having a good drink. Volunteer work. Making people smile.

I'd like to meet:

I like meeting new people that are real from the start. There's nothing worse than becoming friends with someone and then finding out they weren't who they set themselves out to be. Don't waste my time!! You don't have to impress me, I'm not going to like you b/c of the things you've done, but at the same time, I'm not going to dislike you...I like to think everyone has something to offer me, in the sense that everyone has had experiences and stories worth sharing.

I'm not really picky when it comes to music. It really depends on the mood I'm in. ..

Movies:

I like movies that keep my attention. I don't like Westerns, and I would prefer a comedy over a horror flick anyday

Television:

Greys Anatomy, Burn Notice, Standoff, Criminal Minds...

Books:

The books I've been ready lately are boring school books.

I don't understand!!

Really, I don't understand the lives of Military Wives. Really, they judge their lives by which their husband has done. I understand it's a marriage, and you are a reflection of what your husband does...
