WHAT FOLKS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE NEW CD:
"a straight-ahead, driving rock'n'roll sound; defined by simple, catchy melodies and relatable, easy-to-digest lyrics about life, love and heartache in blue-collar America."--Pennsylvania Musician (Oct. 2007)
"When I listen to music I listen for authenticity and for music to be genuine. This is just that — it's style is very original...It doesn't sound like they're trying to sound like their favorite band. I respect that."--Shinbone Magazine (Sept. 2007)
A BRIEF HISTORY:
“A fast-rising name in the music scene…Dennis remains a fiery front man with a knack for rallying crowds…Lowjack provides a fresh and upbeat brand of rock.” --Pennsylvania Musician
“One of the fastest rising bands in the state” --Electric City (Scranton, PA)
“The band’s presence has been established in just a few short months” --Blue Weekly (Penn State University)
With a love of classic rock, Americana and country, LOWJACK is a rock band based out of the great and strange state of Pennsylvania. Lowjack is unpretentious, rowdy and loud; singing songs about breakups, breakdowns, and the hope and boredom that exist everywhere between New York and Los Angeles.
Formed late in August of 2006, award-winning singer/songwriter Dennis Fallon found himself happily without a band (the northeastern US touring juggernaut, KATSU). With a stockpile of songs and disgust for the area’s cover band and polished pop-rock scene, Fallon and company formed a motley assortment of musicians together from local hair bands, soul groups and grindcore bands to perform his own down-home, rootsy, pop-rock concoctions (formed out of members of the bands Solvus, Voodoo Bullet, Fatman Band). Lowjack was born, a loud monster of fate and timing. The members of LOWJACK have created a band that is a reflection of the times and space they live in; coming from a world of dead-end jobs, alcohol and late-night parties, a place where young American dreams collide with a far from perfect reality. A band of hope and hangovers; LOWJACK is the world that exists in the cities, small towns and lonely highways of the Keystone State.
Resonating with Americans who miss their rock and roll performed by the “boys next door” and someone to sing songs for those who work 9 to 5 and wish for a life much better, LOWJACK is a return to real rock music; a road-tested “American Band”. What Skynrd is to Alabama, Springsteen and Bon Jovi to Jersey and Mellencamp to the Midwest, LOWJACK hopes to be to Pennsylvania.
EVENTS OF NOTE:
OCTOBER 2006—Recorded in one day, LOWJACK releases 300 hundred copies of their unofficial, seven song demo. The master tapes are subsequently lost, making this raw and rowdy recording a hard to find fan favorite within weeks.
OCOTBER 2006—LOWJACK posters and artwork appear on the NBC television show, “FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS”.
DECEMBER 2006—“Please Don’t Start”, a pop/rock track from the band’s EP is featured on the CW television show “Veronica Mars”.
MARCH 2007—LOWJACK performs at the legendary South by Southwest Music Conference in Austin, Texas. Drinking ensues, as does tons of Texas barbque.
APRIL 2007—LOWJACK is a top-ranked unsigned band in Pennsylvania on MySpace (www.myspace.com), achieving the number one spot in Roots Music, the top three spot in Pop and number four in Rock. LOWJACK is also one of the top ten bands throughout the state in April (ranked number 10 overall).
MAY 2007—LOWJACK releases their debut, self-titled EP.
JULY 2007--After departure of founding guitarist, Robert "Burk" Burkholder, Jason Davoli joins the group. Davoli performed in such PA favorites as Epoch, and was a founding member of the band that would eventually become the multi-platinum rock group BREAKING BEMJAMIN. LOWJACK also adds Adam "The Harper" Carper on Harmonica.
NOV 2007-The LOWJACK song, "BYE BYE BOYS" is signed to a publishing deal with Los Angeles-based music publisher, Songs With Vision.

Band Website: www.lowjackmusic.com
Band Members:
Frank Yarnal (Bass & Lust)
Jason Davoli (Guitar & Vocals)
Jeremiah Reyes (Keyboards, Sax & Vocals)
Dan "DC" Collins (Fiddle, Guitar & Vocals)
Steve Arnold (Drums & vocals)
That is our core lineup, though we will perform live with a rotating group of performers from backup soul singers, harmonica virtuosos, grizzled pedal steel players to 80's metal guitarists that are collectively known as the WHISKEY UNION.
A band is nothing without where it has been, so it's important for us to take a moment to note our previous members and their contributions:
Dennis Fallon (founding member, singer and songwriter)
Robert "Burk" Burkholder (original guitarist and resident party animal)
Jonathan Hoffman (original drummer and the band's level head)
Adam "The Harper" Carper (Harmonica and mystery)
VIVA LA' LOWJACK
