I am an Aggie, and I am a photographer. Not sure what else to say...
Actually, I am a photographer specializing in Texas Red Dirt Music, and more specifically in live performance and concert photography. I still do all the usual stuff like weddings, sports, wildlife...etc, but concerts are my thing. That is what I enjoy shooting the most, besides my kids.
Recently, I have been shooting more promo shots for bands and artists and have really enjoyed it. Hopefully, I will be doing more of these in the future.
Most nights I can be found in some bar across Texas with a camera in one hand and a cold Bud Light in the other. The rest of the time, you will find me at a dance recital for 5 year olds, or at some sporting event involving one of my kiddos.
I love the "Texas Red Dirt / Southern Rock / Roots / Americana / Southern Soul / Alt-Country...whatever you wanna call it" music scene, and I try to do everything I can to promote it...so go check out some of the Texas Music artists when they come to a town near you! There is SO much great music out there that you may never hear on mainstream radio, so do yourself a favor, and SEEK out live music that suits you. It is out there!
