********************** Leroy "Baarbe" Romans was born in Kingston/Jamaica in the year 1969. Leroy became very curious about the music profession at an early age. He began music lessons on the flute and continued to excel. Music became his sanctuary from many troubled environments all around him. Doing so landed him scholarships in Flute and Vocals at the Jamaica School of Music. Leroy later met up with a friend from the same music school who received an offer to perform for a band called "Coalition" in Barbados where he lived for over 3 years. During that period he taught himself to play the keyboards. This was the beginning of something special in his professional music career. After Barbados, he returned home to Kingston/Jamaica and was embraced by the music industry there. Leroy has since played with many well-known artistes and groups such as the list below. At this time Leroy has fine-tuned his skills as keyboardist, vocalist and performer. Leroy "Baarbe" Romans has taken his years experience and has transcended into a Multi-talented extra ordinary individual. He has developed himself into a well-respected Producer, Songwriter, Musician and all his other well received talents (Vocalist/Composer/Arranger/Programmer/Artist developer, etc). ************************************************************
