Got A Guitar- Know How To Use It

About Me

"Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else." - Judy Garland

Mary-T has a style of playing guitar and singing that blends blues, rock, soul, life, livin', energy and imagination into a magical potion. Original and soulful music from an artist who has never played by anybody else's rules. A songwriters observations through the everchanging prism of light.

Mary's' paid plenty of dues , having many adventures, and unearthing tons of song material along the way. She's gigged everywhere from smoky bars, Irish Pubs, strip clubs, halls, roadhouses, to ampitheatre stages. Mary's played on the bill with acts such as Fishbone, Nina Hagen , and Lydia Pense and Cold Blood, among others.

Her CD "Cut Me Loose" © is all original songs. This recording was made on analog equipment at a recording studio that used to be an old elementary school, and mastered at Capitol Records. Man that schoolhouse was rockin. This recording was made with in the pocket bass and drums, and Mary played all guitar, in the spirit of keeping it real and raw.

Songs from this CD are available as single downloads (mp3) or you can buy the CD at mary-t.com
