The mainstream media had fooled him into thinking he was lacking something because he didn’t have the designer fashions, which in turn created depression. This depression developed his mind state to get money at all cost, which most of the inner-city youth develop from the city life. This lead him into selling drugs, robbing people, and other extreme violence, to get what the world was telling him he needed to fit in. At the age of 16 he discovered he possessed the talent of rhyming. He couldn’t sing or play any instruments, but he had a strong passion for hip hop. When he rhymed it created the melodic part of him that had been dieing to be released. He was a secular rapper until the age of 22. He had herd Christian rap for the first time. He had listened to the song, "Take me as I am" by Lecrae. He had already been thinking about changing his life, but the words of this song opened his heart to a whole different type of life he had forgotten about. Through Gods grace and the lyrics of this song he recommitted his life to the savior Jesus Christ. It seemed immediately after this day, he could feel God's anointing on his life and music. It was a matter of a month before Gods words were flowing out of his heart onto the paper creating rhymes like he never dreamed of writing.“I plan on going where ever the lord leads me. For I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me!†says Good People
