Marks interest in music began at an early age, as with most of us.
He can remember listening to classic mowtown tunes played by his parents and dancing without a care in the backroom of the house. He took up guitar and played mostly for his own amusement and to write songs,
quickly making the move to vocals. As a singer he fronted a number of bands from early teens, the most noteable of these being Pumpkin Orchard (now reinventing themselves as Groovediggers) a four piece funk/rock outfit that giged with such acts as the Stereophonics,Dub War (now Skindred), Catatonia and Pooka in the South Wales area.Through his association with members of Pooka he also did some work for BBC Radio Wales, in the form of Live acoustic sets which led to his first recording release on the compilation "Take it to the Bridge" a reference to the first severn crossing, with the track Deep.Since this Mark has worked with a number of other bands including Chillbird, Insider (now Ridinghood), and Funk Bros. Inc.(FBI).Now having studied piano/keyboard for several years he fronts Wombat Jacuzzi
and writes, performs and records solo material. He also works in the studio as a session musician, and occasionally writes lyrics and music for other acts.
