FORMER MEMBER OF VIRGOS MERLOT & VIRGOS (ATLANTIC RECORDS) FORMER TOURING BASSIST OF COURSE OF NATURE (LAVA/ ATLANTIC)BioI am no longer in Course of Nature, although, I do wish them the best... as their first single, "Anger Cage", is one of the songs that I co-wrote with Mark Wilkerson, my friend and frontman of C.O.N., while we were writing for the new albam "Damaged". The video will also be out soon, which I think they did an excellent job on. It was produced with the help of Mark's wife Melissa Hart Wilkerson, who is very talented.I will be continuing to write songs, and record them with my protools apperatus and post them, as the demo's I am recording on my own , are finished.I have been playing /writing and recording for 16yrs non-stop in a number of different bands (Thred/ Virgos Merlot/ Virgos/ Downstem / Course of Nature) and on my own solo projects.My specialties would be in Pop or Heavy rock, but I would also be interested in doing anything musically from Hip Hop to Country.........It just seems like there are not enough hours in the day for me sometimes, to finish all of the songs that I have either written or have not even recorded yet..... Then there's the ones that I have recorded and have not had time to tighten up and edit, which are the one's you hear now. Which I know need some work.I have a Roland 2480 ..24 track automated digital recorder and Protools LE system with a Macbook pro for editing... I also have a bunch of Protools plug-ins to go with that. Plus I have every instrument I need, to be that all in one music machine that I love and strive to be.I do miss playing in a band, and the friendships that it can create. Although, for me, it is time to start a business, that I have total control over. I have a family to think of now and I know that I will not have to worry about me, not showing up to practice with myself , or quiting my own band, etc......I have no trouble playing and singing whatever comes to mind, and that is a lot of things , these days. I love writing lyrics & melodies , as well as writing cool guitar riffs & even poetry......The poetry is usually for my beautiful & loving wife, who has been a great inspiration and a muse for my art, while also being a best friend, that I can trust with her helpful and constructive criticism. I have never been happier or loved anyone more than I do her and her two girls which I adore and love being a father to.I have been there and done that , when it comes to the music business and band experiences, which I mentioned earlier and I do really miss. Although for now, all I will do is cross my fingers and pray to God that I can find that sound that suits my style & that I can get myself back to that part of my life that I do miss in a music career....I have always gotten instant gratification from creating and performing music. I never could imagine myself quitting or giving up on myself when it comes to being a musician / songwriterI have definitely been around the block...( in this monster called "The Music Business")..... a few times, as a major label artist. I have been on TV & radio with the bands I was in , as well as a sitcom ,(Sabrina the Teenage Witch), while playing ourselves , as the band Course of Nature, on a TRL(MTV) like show, and we also were on Living Large w/ Carmen Electra. This was a very cool experience that I will never forget. With all the traveling that I've done and the places that I have been, I always seem to make it back home to the state that I was born. The place that I will always call home........................... Birmingham, Alabama ! Roll Tide Roll! I am a southern boy with a broad mind and a loving heart, and a obsession for creating rock songs.While traveling all over this beautiful country(USA) and some of Canada, I got to tour with some great people in some awesome bands touring, like Creed, Nickelback, Finger Eleven, Jerry Cantrell, Tantric and Fuel, just to name a few...... I have made a ton of wonderful & one of a kind friends along the way, and to think that I probrably might have never met any of them if I had not picked up a guitar, and quenched this thirst that I have always had for musical knowledge that still drives me to this day.....I know that it will constantly drive me through infinity and beyond................Music is my love, along with my loving and adorable wife & family , who are always 1 in my heart. I think the most positive event that has occurred in my lifetime besides meeting my wife, has been to gain this fascination I have for music ; whether it be writing / playing / recording or just listening to it, I LOVE IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Music gives me an inner peace that can be fulfilled, no matter what hectic situation that I might be involved in....... When I pick up my guitar and play and sing my songs this peace is easily acquired as well as happiness covered in a feeling of self worth. I think it is very important to pass musical knowledge along to our kids and others these days... This will give them something, to help their self esteem shine bright and it can give them a direction to follow, along with a goal that is not impossible to attain............. with just a little practice.Thanks for any interest you might have with me and my music and for any & all of the support given to me over the years, in the several bands that I've been a part of.
