My name is Marcus Williams, Im a drummer, studio owner/engineer, instructor/clinician.
I am currently touring with Tyler Perry's play What's Done in the Dark. I am the drummer for the production. I also did the plays, Madea Goes to Jail,(on DVD now) and, Why did I get Married,(also on DVD now. I was in the ..1 movie Diary of A Mad Black Woman, and I am in the new movie,(comming Feb 14) called Daddys Little Girls, all Tyler Perry productions.I also taught John Blackwell advanced drum studies and technics, that I created to incorporate better hand foot cordination. John Blackwell is releasing a new DVD soon it's called the Jia concert, recorded at the Berkley School of Music in Boston. Featuring Dennis Chambers, John Blackwell, Terry Lynn Carrington,Marcus Williams, Vinnie Calleuta, and many more.I have worked for a number of artist through the years, some you Know and some you may not know.

I feel there is not enough media for these types of musical expressions period. And it's time that all Urban Musicians have a voice in this huge world of music that we as a whole have mold, and shaped in to what it is today. (forgive if I spelled something wrong, that's life.
