New York born and raised guitarist and singer, played in various NY rock and metal bands through the late '70's (as a teenager!-I ain't THAT old!!), 80's and 90's.
Career highlights include recording and playing with Dusty Rose, Chainsaw, and even auditioning as guitarist for the world-renowned Alice Cooper.
Ultimately experiencing some airplay success with a ballad entitled "Time On My Hands".
Switching gears, and then doing a solo acoustic-based gig as "Werner's One Man Band", simultaneously playing 1/2 a drum set for rhythm, using various acoustic instruments. Werner is still active (when schedule permits) playing in clubs and bars in the states of NY, NJ and PA; and always writing new songs.Currently recording and experimenting with various antique stringed instruments such as ukelin, marxophone, tremoloa, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, autoharp, and various other vintage American and/or German zither-type instruments.
