Formed by Phil Lynott and Mark Stanway in 1982, original line up was Phil Lynott, Brian Downey, Mark Stanway, Doische Nagle and John Sykes. John Sykes left the band before it was called Grandslam to join Whitesnake. Mark Stanway introduced close friend and superb guitarist Laurence Archer (formerly of Wild Horses, UFO and Stampede) and this line up remained for 6 months before Brian Downey also departed and was subsequently replaced by the talented Irish drummer Robbie Brennan.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fo6VDPjuChEhttp://www
