Lauri Ylönen is a Finnish singer, member and leader of the band of rock The Rasmus. One of the more important Finnish musicians of all times and also one of the most influential is considered in the European musical scene.He was born the 23 of April of 1979 in the city of Helsinki. From when he was very small, Lauri became attached to music, and from early age he learnt to play the piano. He initiated the project of The Rasmus in 1994, along with the other members of the band then: Pauli Rantasalmi, Eero Heinonen and Janne Heiskanen. He is the main composer of the songs of the band.After many years of travelling, The Rasmus has become one of the most popular bands in Finland, and in most of Europe too.Along with Pauli, Lauri belongs to an association of Finnish artists called Dynasty' of which it is divides the Kwan group. ' In addition The Rasmus has its own producing company called Dynasty Record, that supports young bands.
