Some kind of energetic force or natural order encompasses every person, living thing, action, thought, stillness, experience or even the empowerment behind creativity. Therefore the stimulus that drives my artworks is through this silent channel. I weave together my creations with a thread of darkness, a thread of lightness and merge them together into a dual tapestry, choosing oil paint as my primary medium.
I choose to be a self taught artist to develop progressively in my unique individual space, free from the conventions of formal training, hugging tightly to the creative essence that curls through my spirit.
I am considered an outsider artist in the art world, using my artistic talents for therapeutic purposes and approaching the subject of art in a non conventional manner. Attaching myself to the natural rhythms of the creative flow, standing by patiently for inspiration to appear and reveal a deeper insight into my own realm. I look at my artworks like little painted windows, a gift of visual insight to the universe. I hope that my artwork can somehow help mankind by healing and handing down knowledge and wisdom from higher sources.
I have had the opportunity to be apart of several exhibitions , exhibiting artworks at the Melbourne Convention Centre, J-ward, Old Fire Station Gallery, Parliament House, and have also donated a collection of paintings to the Cunningham Dax Collection.
My vision for the future is to see my artworks recognized on a global scale, to reach the hearts and thoughts of many. I most certainly will walk this path of creation in honor of the subconscious, imagination and the spirit of life itself until my hands turn to bone.
