I love Alaska and Montana and Minnesota

About Me

I'll be out of touch until November because I'm going rafting down the Grand Canyon.

My Interests

eating WILD ALASKAN SALMON, eating fresh halibut, skiing, surfing, van camping, bare feet in the sand, road trips, hiking in the mountains, fresh roasted coffee, playing the guitar, skipping rocks, running stairs, snowboarding, walking around in the rain in Fort Abercrombie State Park, bonfires, canned beer, but my real passion is roofing. Pretty much when I'm not roofing, I'm thinking about roofing.

I'd like to meet:

i have found that if you put a pork chop on a circle hook, you will catch a big halibut

Music:

The throwAway Heroes from Finland (yeah Tommi!!), Atmosphere from Minneapolis, Trampled by Turtles from Duluth. Terry Stebbins.

Movies:

Check out Warren Miller's "Off The Grid." Also see footage from my latest trip to Haines, Alaska.

Television:

Watch Rush HD or Fuel TV and look for a show called 'Nomads' about snowmobile skiing in Montana.

Books:

Heroes:

My dad taught me how to ski in the truck on the way to the hill. He said "put your skis in a vee, then lean on one to turn;" My mother Cheryl who is the best mom I know, my awesome family, there's no one else I'd rather ski with than my siblings, Race knows everything, Jermo, April for saving her native language and being so cool, B.E. Large , Dave Stergar my favorite person to rip with, Paulson cuz he represents D town, Gary the coffee wizard, Brent can build anything, Bill can rip the guitar and has a band room, Patrick has skied everything on Kodiak Island and let me use his AT setup, Julie my structural integration therapist and miracle worker, Scot Schmidt, I hear Marcos can build one badass ropes course, Dave the roofing king, Michael Jordan, Kelly Slater, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Seth Freeman plays the guitar like he's from some other planet, Will Mackenzie dirtbag snowboarder turned PGA golfer, go Willy Mac!! Rob and Mark at Kodiak Solstix for keeping me all fueled up on Wild Alaskan Salmon! and Eric F makes the best sandwiches this side of the mississippi!!
