THE DEAD ROSE is the first film project concieved of, produced, directed by actor Jimmy Drain in the fall of 2006. THE DEAD ROSE chronicles the relationship of Robby and his fiance Jordan. Robby wants to live the rest of his life with the beautiful Jordan. But his intuition is giving him red flags. When Robby finds the truth about Jordan, he is in for the shock of his life, and a twist of fate brings to him his destiny in the most unbelievable way. THE DEAD ROSE is a 40 minute plus short film written by Jimmy Drain and acclaimed screenwriter Nils Taylor. It was shot as a short film, and the film in itself is to be used as a calling card for investors and producers world wide to re-make the film as it was originally intended, in FEATURE LENGTH format (scheduled to shoot in 2008).
