I am happy to say, I have successfully completed both a bachelors and masters degree from two wonderful schools. University of Arizona and University of Southern California couldn't have been more perfect for me and they both happened at the right time in my life. Since I completed my masters in 2004 from USC, I have been playing horn professionally all around Los Angeles. I love this place because of the endless opportunities. I have chosen to take the path of innovation and would love to explore my talents and all they have to offer. I am classically trained with some experience in jazz, but would love to do some more recording with song writers. I've always felt the horn sounds so lovely with voice. This is another reason I have decided to involve myself more in the opera world!! I am principal horn with a new opera company in the Valley, Center Stage Opera (centerstageopera.org). There is a lot of success right around the corner with this group. The nice thing about being located in the valley is we "really" need some great music in this part of Los Angeles. Among my responsibilities as principal horn, I am the orchestra manager so I have the great privilege of hiring the orchestra. So, for all of you song writers out there I do contracting as well. It's not just having amazing musicians my friends... over half the battle is working with people who are supportive, responsible and have a great attitude!! Ultimately, I just love to be a part of any great group with extremely motivational and hard working musicians!!! Here's an idea of how the horn sounds, just a little somethin somethin I whipped up!! It's all about bringing joy to your heart and soul. That's why I chose music as MY profession!!
