The Hundred Flower Campaign

About Me

The members of The Hundred Flower Campaign began their artistic career as actors each obtaining credabilty of their own accord. All in the beginning of their career, they were set to become cult icons with quotes such as, "The next James Dean" and "The new Brando", following their names. Gaining interest from directors such as David Lynch(The Elephant Man, Wild at Heart), Alex Cox(Repo Man, Sid and Nancy) and even Martin Scorcese with Tom Bates asked to play the part of Howard Hughes in The Aviator (later going to good friend Leo di Caprio), the young stars increasingly started to find themselves in the public eye. But as their stardom grew so did their distaste for the Hollywood plastisty. Soon each were in the newspapers for all the wrong reasons with bouts in rehab, divorces and charges of drink driving. Steven was sued for attacking a member of the paparazzi and smashing his camera while Philip spent 12 days in prison after bein caught with illegal substances on his person while driving 110 mph down a highway. They were getting reputations as being Hollywood bad boys, "It was starting to get crazy, partying for days with Edward Furlong and Robert Downey jr."(Ewan). The young actors then decided to give up acting and form a band together knowing each other from their secondary school days. Steven: "We had tired of the acting lifestyle and wanted to start something fresh." So they became The Hundred Flower Campaign and began conquests of gaining respect all over again this time in the music world. Somewhere along the line, something strange started to happen to each of them. New senses developed and they discovered secret powers that their parents (or school teachers) had never told them of before. They became superhumans!!!!! Now dominating and ridding the world of silly crimes and picking up badges for every heroic act. If you are lucky enough see that glowing light tangent to the sky.... you can feel safe and proud now that you have witnessed "THE HUNDRED FLOWER CAMPAIGN"!-------------------------------------------------- ----------------------- .. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------ You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor ! ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------
