I am a former public radio heavy metal DJ. I ran west central Florida's only real metal radio show for 4 years. I am still involved in the local music scene, but I am taking a creative break from radio for awhile.
Other than music and DJing, I am into martial arts, computer repair, reading, and web design. I teach private swordfighting classes - a mix of Western European groundfighting and stage combat - as well as adult computer classes. I design and make chain and leather armor and jewelry. I enjoy Renaissance festivals, historical re-enactments, and fantasy/medieval costuming. I am a moderately accomplished world traveller. Japan is my favorite destination and I lecture frequently on Japanese culture, history, society, manga, anime, and food.

I will see just about anything. Action, comedy, fantasy/sci-fi, decent anime, and well-done period pieces are my top genres.
I am not really much into television. I spend most of my TV time on Cartoon Network or Comedy Central. Adult Swim, anime, Futurama, and Family Guy get most of my attention. I catch The Daily Show and the Simpsons whenever I can. There is no point in watching network TV, since they just cancel anything decent within half a season. Firefly, anyone?
Fantasy and some sci-fi. R.A. Salvatore is my personal favorite.
