Hey there well about me if ya even remotely interested I am a Birmingham born chick who is Brummie and proud. Some would say I'm unusual or I just stand out and I say I'm jus me. Max is free-spirit and goes where ever her spirit takes her, Max says BUN restriction,I love different,I crave creativity, off the wall, non-conformists, experimentation,rimless glasses lol and people who arent afraid to be exposed to something outside the box.......jus because life is already full of mandatory boundaries but it doesnt mean we have to comply on all levels...smiling yeah and sometimes I can get abit deep.Did I mention that I have a addiction to smiling,laughter and happiness, all very good for you...I am the dancer who gets lost in the beats or the vocals the girl who doesnt give a damn because when I dance I imagine all sorts and excitement builds in me....which is why the music has to be quality. Make good music and I shall celebrate it.I guess if I was technically minded I would make music because when I hear music I can remix it in my head adding instruments beats and vocals. I was and still am the kid who used to sleep with headphones on, one hand on the record and pause button taping pirate radio in the dark. However I dont do tapes now just have a collection of 3000 which I may use has an art piece one day lol.Thanks dad for taking me to all them big man's houses so I could marvel at their vinyl collection,listen for hours and play and polish all your vinyl for hours on a weekend whilst you cooked Sunday dinner and I do my best to impress you by selecting and trying to match your selector style and marvel at the photography on on the covers lol what fun we had....Earth wInd and Fire -The Masterpiece Heavy track lol I guess dats why I love music and photography.My background is Photography trainned for 6 years to learn my craft OLDE SKOOL SLR style in Birmingham and practised professionally for a few years working for an independant photographer photographying black hair, weddings, press conferences and portraits etc and covering music events for own my personal enjoyment documenting Music legends such as Jah Shaka and other musicans until tragedy struck within my family and I could no longer take photographs.....a very sad and stressful time in my life which affected my ability to express myself creatively through my camera.After years of not practising photography and pursuing other career paths and reshaping my life my father took me on a trip back home to Jamaica and I took my camera has you do lol. It was the amazing colourful, vibrant, day to day living of Jamaica that awakened my photographic shutters again and I fell back in love with documenting people, still life, music , nature and portrait photography.I now go nowhere without my camera because its a true extension of who I am its how I express myself creatively I see 1000's of images everyday but my real love is documentary style photography and music and I have continued to photograph one musician for over 13 years that being Jah Shaka which you can see a sample of on my site a fascinating individual who has contributed much to reggae music and bringing upliftment to not only my life but millions of people over the world and for dat I salute him.The only difference being now photography has moved on digitally Max has had to retrain on how to photograph her subjects digitally and not have the satisfaction of printing the images in the darkroom which used to be a buzz too... So the long and the short of it is I am now looking to pursue my passion of photographying music artists from all walks of life and build a reputation on the music scene as a reputable photographer rather like Linda McCartney lol.Any images I currently take will not be used for any commerical use, purely personal use unless you commission me to take photos for your bands etc. Infact I am happy enough to photograph any artist or events for FREE has long has I can practise my craft so its a win, win situation lol interested contact me.Bands I have been asked to document so far DIGO from Birmingham.I will leave you with that for now....Curiousity Killed Da Puss lmao xx
