About Me

What up doe everybody glad to see you make it to my page!!! My name is Nasty New Beatz and I was born in Detroit, Michigan at Sinai Hospital and raised in Oak Park, Mi. I was inspired by music at an early age being from Motown, my father plays piano/organ and listened to heavy jazz and soulful music. And having one of my cousin's whose in the Spinners (Bobby Smith) wasn't bad either. I saw his gold and platinum plaques and how much fun his life was and I loved music and new this is what I wanted to do from then on out! Not to mention he had me in a drop top Rolls Royce when I was a kid!!! Now a days you can see the payoff in the quality of music that I make along with my other half of the production team Chris Bars. Our sound is new, refreshing, trend setting, addictive, inspirational, energetic and most of all hot!!!!! How do we create these eargasms you ask? Its simple, just be versatile in what you do and you can accomplish creativity. I've always been a stand out handsome guy anywhere I went to from the clothes to the jewlery to women I had it all!!! What can I say my dad was a pimp and I basically just mixed street knowledge with book knowledge 50/50 so to speak!!!! Blend all that shit together and you get my sound which is all from the soul no bullshit or fakeshit its 100% authentic and official baby fuck wit ya boy!!!!! You can hear me on Big Herk's 2008 release and mixtape "Playtime's Over!" I produced "Ridin on 24's" a laid back ode to how we roll in the city and G.O.T.C.H.A. B.A.C.K." anthem a supa hard takeover type of track and "It's Whatever" heard on various mixtapes in the D with a victorious triumphant sound. I got new songs with Tone Tone coming out in 2008 called "Get Like Me" that will be bangin in the streets/radio/clubs shortly and a few other surprises I got lined up with him. I also produced "Rock Your Wrist" by Tone Tone and New Skool which got performed in the 2006 Summer Jam concert in Detroit at Hart Plaza. Way before certain dances were made we had the wrock yo wrist! In late 2006 I got my first national placement with Bleu DaVinci's The World is BMF's vol.2 with track number 7 called "O.G." Bleu DaVinci and OoweE featured on it and its a certified street classic!!!! The horns and the organs on the track are crazy and inspirational at the same time! Go cop it at Best Buy or Walmart please!!! Also in 2006 I produced a track with Shortdawg (The Boy Short) now signed to SoSo Def and who was with Dirty Glove back in Detroit. The song "Young Southern Flame Spitter" has a supa crunk/hard bounce thats electrifiying to the ears releaed by Dj Butter. Working with people you've grown up with is always a plus because yall cool and thats what happened with a new artist in the D named Low. I produced the track "What U Lookin At?", ft. Big Herk and other tracks soon to be released. I was blessed to work with Lil Scrappy and G's Up on the 2005 G's Up mixtape. The song "Make it Roll Like a 24" has been banged in strip clubs all over Atlanta!!! New shit with him coming soon.I've worked with artist's on my own label SupaBlock Records like Age Knox, Young Ghetto, Twan Willz and myself who blessed the 2005 Zoo Bar rocked "Bossdown When U See Me" anthem opening up for Boyz n da Hood brought to you buy Skee at Detroit Productions!!! Other hits include "Being Broke is Old Fashion" and "Don't Talk Me to Def". Rell, Carv, Quavo, Swazy, Juan OG and Rob Forch are other artist that spit fire too. These artist have heat to them and have been doing there thing heavy so be on the look out. The Swazy Project was released in 2004 and was and instant underground classic with hits like "Do What u Want", "What up Detroit" and "Road 2 Riches"!!!! WJLB and 105.9 now 102.7 both spun the record "Look into my Eyes" which had a soulful Curtis Mayfield sample and a great feel to it!!!! This was in 2001 when Detroit artist didn't get spins remember. The album was the first time I heard my music on the radio and it was a natural high!!!! Go listen to the Swazy Project on my page but Itunes and various e music networks have the whole album for sale. Another artist on the rise is Zeek who is featured on my page with street bangers like "I'm from the D" and "I'm in the Club Just Rite" they are certified anthems!!!!!
