About Me

What up world! I'm a down to earth brother that believes in the Lord whole heartedly! This hasn't always been my testimony though. Before I got to this point, I was whole heartedly in the streets. But the Lord has a way of allowing a person to experience some things that will change their whole outlook on life! For me, it was an eight year prison sentence for selling drugs. But in the year that I've been out,the Lord has opened so many doors for me, all I can say is, "You cannot be serious!" Why did I put this out there like that? Ain't no use in trying to hide it! I'll never be ashamed of my testimony. Anybody familiar with church lingo will know that I do attend church and a believer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If anybody out there is looking for a church to visit or attend, I suggest A Word In Season Christian Fellowship at 6602 Clio Rd. Flint, MI (I know, a shameless plug!) There are real people there and the pastor is a great teacher.
But let me fall back from that for a minute 'cause I am a whole human being with other thoughts, interests, etc. I guess some other things about me are, even, though I'm a serious person, I like to laugh. I'm also a get to the point, "what's the bottom line" kind of person. Spiritually, I am 100% on the side of Jesus but I'm still a work in progress (like Steve Harvey said, don't trip God ain't through with me!). I am definitely a person with varying interests. I love to watch CNN, CNBC, TBN (especially Praise The Lord) and the Word Network. But I also love hood flics. I love praise and worship and artist like Juanita Bynum, Israel Haughton, Martha Munizzi, Mary Alessi, Tedashii, Canton Jones, Kirk Franklin, Virtue, and John P. Kee. But I also went out and bought Kanye West's and 50 Cent's CDs the first day that they came out. This is who I am. I'm also into whatever strengthens the Black community. Back in the day I was a true student of the Black Power movement. Right now I believe our community is in a real precarious position and we need to get back to being vigilant in our pursuit of full equality in this nation.
As you can tell, I'm a lover of all things Black. We can be some tripped out people sometime (myself included!), but you gotta love us. I'm an avid music lover (Hip Hop, Gospel, R & B, starting to like a little jazz and reggae [not dancehall]. I'm also a sports enthusiast (I ran track in high school and college). I'm also into politics and current affairs. I'm always open to some good conversation so if any of these things interest you, let's kick it.
