About Me

My name is Patrick, but many friends call me Patricio (the Spanish form). The Latin form, Patricius, means "noble." Cool, n'est pas?
Head Heart Time Safety Money
I am an outgoing guy, and can talk with/fit in with most any crowd. This could be because I am at least a little interested in everything. I love having good times with friends, going to parties, and generally skimming all the fun I can off of this ride we call life. Other than the fact I have a torn ACL, I love being active and running, playing soccer or baseball or fighting/dueling with lightsabers. I also love ****, more than anything else in the world. I love music, rythym, drumming, fires, camping, fishing, dancing, singing, playing guitar, shouting, experimenting, exploring science, swimming, art/painting/drawing/sculpting, writing, and really, pretty much everything.
I have lived in Prosser, WA; Lake Havasu, AZ; Chino Valley, AZ; Ponca, NE; South Sioux City, NE; Lincoln, NE; Omaha, NE; and now live in Sioux City, IA.
Previous jobs include Crittenton Center for Shelter and Youth Development, EZ Money, Telco Triad Community Credit Union, Jiffy Lube, Pizza Hut, Dominos, Little Chicago Deli, Perkins, Applebee's, Coney Island, Hy-Vee, Wal-Mart, Rocket Auto Wash, MCI, World Book Encyclopedia, Little Caesars, Ben Fish Tire, Sioux City Foundry, McDonalds (1 day), True Green Chemlawn, and probably more places I am forgetting to mention.
My schooling includes:
High School(s): Attended Ponca Public, Heelan Catholic, and graduated from South Sioux City Community High School in 1993.
College: I have attended University of Nebraska at Lincoln (UNL), Wayne State College, and Western Iowa Tech Community College. I am yet to graduate, but have studied Forestry, Fisheries, and Wildlife; Biology; Mass Communications; English (with a writing emphasis); Computer Science; History; and Mathmatics.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Music:

Movies:

Monty Python's Life of Brian
English
94 minutes
Life of Brian is yet another cult classic from the Python troop, that has captivated the sarcasm and wit of generations of viewers. One of my personal favorites, and a great exploration into the ridiculous nature of religious zelotism and mob mentality. Hilarious.
Mel Brooke's Spaceballs
English
96 minutes
Spaceballs is one of Mel Brooke's crowning achievements, a triumph of farce and comedy. Parelleling the style of the Python Troop themselves, this is a non-stop laugh-fit movie, and essential base material to a mature sense of humor. May the schwartz be with you!
VOOR EEN VERLOREN SOLDAAT/FOR A LOST SOLDIER
Dutch/English
92 minutes
For A Lost Soldier is a wonderful story of the intricate institution of love, loss, and youth. I absolutely love this movie, and watch it on a regular basis. A must see in this paranoid, modern world. Caution: Some scenes may be hard to take for some viewers. Discretion is advised!
THE SANDLOT
English
101 minutes
The Sandlot is the ultimate telling of boyhood and youth. Excellently directed and filmed, it is the coming of age story of a group of boys as told in retrospect by the "new boy" to the group. Set in the 1960's Americana, and full of comedy and boyish innocence, this movie is an all time favorite!
STAND BY ME
English
87 mins
Stand By Me is perhaps the granddaddy of all coming of age films. It is the story of the end of summer, the end of youth, and the journey of a lifetime to find a boy who has lost his life. If you have somehow not seen this movie, then you simply have to see it.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE
Danish (English subtitles available)
90 mins
You Are Not Alone is the story of a boy, exploring his sexuality in a setting where sexual liberation is at the forefront. Includes a big coming out scene. Pretty optimistic, but then again, its Dutch.

Television:

SUITE LIFE of Zach and Cody, Adult Swim, Phil of the Future, The Riches, MadTV, Life with Derrick, pretty much anything on the Science Channel, and that's about it.
