Suffice it to say I'm not the person I was 2 years ago today. I looked through my blog last week and realized I'd written 100 blog posts; if I can't find the evolution of my Self over that year in those, I'm not trying. I love going back through old journals and reading about who I was, what I've desired to become, and feel how I measure up against the my own expectations and dreams. So far, so good.
I love hearing peoples' stories about how they've regained their health through their own journey, and that's one of the most rewarding things about being a pediatric chiropractor- you get a lot of those. Kids respond so well that its inevitable that parents will start telling you all the amazing things that are happening now that their son or daughter's power is on.
I also love writing- it's a passion. The absolute nerd inside of me pours over medical journals for articles about the new health care system, the failure of the current model, and evidence of the potential of the human body to not only heal but thrive despite extreme conditions. I write summaries on those abstracts and am developing a resource to post them on. In lieu of that I write my observations about life, the world we live in, and our relationships on my blog here.
On a more personal level I'm your average adventurer compensating for a Midwestern upbringing by exploring the places most of my family haven't been to, pushing my own comfort limits and finding out what I fear, because as I read once, what you fear is an exact indication of what you should be doing.
