Influences: Trying to tune into the BBC world service as a kid on short-wave radio and finding soup-monster sounds, modulated voices and strange numbers stations. Stuck in the house with no money and poor weather, dreaming of warmer climates, always fills me with a deep sense of nostalgia that I find equally inspiring and depressing. It makes me boot up the old Mac and try to bash out a couple of tunes. As far as music influences, too many to list, I guess the same line up of musicians, composers and producers that have inspired the legions of bands and individuals that stand under the banner of experimental-post whatever. Well stocked Indie record stores have always been a great Influence, Tempest Records in Birmingham, England is a fine example.
