I grew up in Duluth, Minnesota. Went to college at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan for geological engineering. I played in a couple of bands in college - Cry on Cue, Vanilla Thunder, and the MTU Jazz Band. I Stayed in Houghton for 7 years and made some wonderful friends. Met my wife Kris in College. Left Houghton in 1999 and moved to Seattle, Washington. I miss Lake Superior, Duluth and the U.P., but love living in Seattle with the mountains and the ocean. We have two big happy cats.
