MIND BODY SOUL consists of Maston "B.J." Walker on lead vocals/guitar (Bang Bang, Torrid Affair), Randy St. John on drums (Sweet Savage, Bang Bang, Winterkat, Torrid Affair), Stacey Steele on lead guitar (Arrival, Toy Subs, Life of Riley), and Michael Hildebrandt on bass (Torrid Affair, Lumps of Flesh). Since forming back in late 1997, MIND BODY SOUL teamed up with Ty Tabor (King's X), and recorded a four song EP that was mixed and mastered at his studio. Two music video's soon followed, in which Ty also directed and edited.
The collaboration proved successful as radio stations, clubs, and fans were quick to pick up the EP, and the band was booked into "headline" status basically overnight. Since then, MIND BODY SOUL has done several major label showcases, been played and interviewed on major radio stations, been written up in "Music Connection" magazine, and have shared the stage with many national acts like King's X, Drowning Pool, Galactic Cowboys, Atomic Opera, Pantera, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Enuff Z'Nuff, Cheap Trick, Solinger, Lillian Axe, Zebra, Loverboy, and many many more.
With the release of their first full-length 14 song 2000 CD, "Things", MIND BODY SOUL made their mark in the Texas music scene with rave reviews.
Unfortunately, in 2001 the band parted ways to pursue other interests...
--- MIKIE recorded his debut solo record..."Lumps of Flesh" and the Lumps of Flesh follow up record " Bruised". Mikie also has continued on with his business and running his long distant marathons.
---MASTON recorded a solo album called "Tampering With The Laws of Goodness" with Ty Tabor again at the wheel, this time providing all the electric guitars, a lot of bass tracks, mixing, and mastering.
--- STACEY now lives in Hollywood, CA and is playing in a new band to be announced soon. Stacey also provided many of the bass tracks on Maston's solo album, "Tampering With The Laws Of Goodness".
---RANDY played the drum tracks for Ty Tabor's last two solo albums, "Ty Tabor Presents Rock Garden" in 2006 and "Balance" released in 2008. Randy is currently working with Ty once again laying down the "groove" on a future Ty Tabor solo album.
