Cojack born (Travis Pollenitz) on 9/17/1986 in Newark, NJ raised in Prichard, Al started singing and dancing at age 10 that’s first live performance was on Fox 10 local news. Cojack played the trumpet and the drums in his high school band. Cojack grew up in a negative environment trying to stay away from trouble; Cojack began writing music creating a hot crunk style flow that the world will love to hear, going to the studio keeping himself busy and interested on doing the right thing other than being in the streets.Both Maja and Cojack dropped out of high school. With no diploma to fall back on; Music became less of a hobby and more of a career. Maja and Cojack decided to come together with one common goal “Lets get together and make shit happen†getting out and recording day to day sleeping in the studio. Doing the things they had to do to get the job done. Having plans and hopes to get out of a dead end environment and show the industry that Alabama has mainstream potential. In doing so the duo linked up with Jtrx an upcoming producer and began recording singles. In the process building a name for themselves in the streets, Maja and Cojack ran across local D.J (D.J Rodski) formally of 93 blx handing him a blank c.d he recommended an artist packaging. With determination and the knowledge of their hit they insisted him to listen. Maja and Cojack not knowing the next morning D.J Rodski was playing their song on the radio. “You can’t judge a book by its coverâ€. D.J Rodski then introduced Maja and Cojack to Atlantic recording artist Don Parma who set up a meeting with Eric Nicks (President and A&R of Universal Records/Motown. Then recording with the super producer Oneya and song writer Janet Sewell. Maja and Cojack had determination of showing the industry what it was missing.Upon return from New York Maja and Cojack’s career began to take flight venues including Club La Vela Panama City Fl, Crème de La Crème Moss Point Ms, Dimensions Pensacola Fl, Illusions and Club Miami Mobile Al, several high school pep rallies and benefits as well.Although the group has received offers, the duo yet remains to be unsigned. “We’re just waiting on the right offer†says Cojack. With their grind, determination and electrifying sound the duo will surely be an asset to whomever they choose to make their home.
