My Interests

Lots and Lots of shit.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with a golden ticket to Producers Steven Spielberg & Rick McCallum's board room. I've got shit to do, and I'm running outta time. Fingers crossed, I should be in talks with M.Night Shyamalan by the end of the year.Silly Jakers

Music:

Anything by James Horner or James Newton Howard, though as far as "regular" music goes; lately its been James Blunt, and Blue Oyster Cult. ( What's with all the James's? ) Thomas Newman is another good composer. I'll listen to pretty much anything though. Fleetwood Mac, Depeche Mode, Our Lady Peace, U2, Tears For Fears, Queensrych(whom, by the way, are the shit), Joni Mitchell, the Counting Crows, Live, Simon & Garfunkel, Filter, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Pearl Jam, anything at all. ----------------------------------------------

Movies:

Oh God! Picking a favorite movie is like asking me which nut I'd like to keep, but I'll give it a try. Among my hits are: 'Legends of the Fall' - 'Meet Joe Black' - 'the Village' - 'Jaws' - and Romero's 'Dead Trilogy' Recent additions are; 'the New World' - 'Kingdom of Heaven' - and contrary to some people's opinions, I rather liked 'Silent Hill'. I also loved 'Sleepers' - 'Reservoir Dogs' - 'Brotherhood of the Wolf' and a whole host of cliche' flicks like; 'BraveHeart' - 'Lord of the Rings' - 'Titanic' - and 'Pulp Fiction'. I like the romantic films too; 'the Notebook' - 'Pride and Predjudice' - 'Somewhere in Time' - and 'Love Actually' (I own literally hundreds of DVD's) And the list goes on: 'the Abyss' - 'Doctor Zhivago' - 'the Count of Monte Cristo' - 'Legend' (back before Cruise became so righteous) - 'the Sixth Sense' - 'Signs' - 'Unbreakable' - 'LadyHawk' - 'Lady in the Water' - 'Laurel Canyon' - 'the Weight of Water' - ............----------------------------------

Television:

As far as T.V. goes; anything on the Discovery Channel past 8:00pm (Screw those designer shows. What in the Hell do they know anyway?). I also watch alot of the History Channel. For shows though; 'Mythbusters' - 'Grey's Anatomy' ( I like Bailey and George... Heigl's character ain't half bad either) - and 'Lost' (Though 'Lost's reruns are going to make me go postal!). I mean Jesus Christ, WRITE A SEASON!

Books:

Odd enough, I'm a screenwriter, yet I don't like to read. I do like Richard Matheson as an author though. 'I Am Legend' (Can you believe they've got Will-fuckin'-Smith for the movie?) - 'What Dreams May Come' - and 'Stir of Echoes'. They're great reads I'd have to admit. I guess as a movie lover, when I read a book and then see the movie, I generally get disappointed 'cause as a transcripter myself, I'm directing my own version of the movie as I'm reading it, and my version is always better ;) So if it has a movie, I always watch the movie first and then read the book after.

Heroes:

"Any fish with the gills to swim away from the school." I always admire courage and individuality.---------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------
