My name is Aaron, and I'm 25 years old. I just finished my degree in Computer Engineering Technology from Eastern Michigan University College of Technology. I'm currently working at Wayne State University full time as IT support. I've got a pretty dry/stupid sense of humor, so you wouldn't be too suprised to you found out that I think Monty Python, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", and Brian Regan are some of the funniest things out there.

I am a total geek when it comes to computers, technology, anything with an engine or motor in it that you can operate (cars, trucks, motorcycles, jetskis). I have a hard time accepting the fact that "it just works." I have to know HOW it works. I know my way around an engine bay, and have no problem getting dirty (or swapping out an engine.) Sit down and have a beer with me and you'll learn ALL about Desmodromic valve actuation, for instance (that is, if you WANT to learn.)

I've got amazing family and friends that never cease to amaze me and never cease to be there for me. I don't know what I would do without them. I love spending time with them, whether it's on a 5 hour motorcycle camping trip to Mio, a 22 hour car trip to the Rockies for some deep powder skiing, or a 15 minute car trip to the bar. Put me in the middle of the basement at OSLO in Detroit during a Ryan Elliot set with some people who know what that means, and I'm happy.

My Interests

Hanging out at underrated bars where the people are cool and the beer selection is even cooler. It's amazing how much more satisfying an evening is when you've got a Guinness in hand and you can walk up to almost anyone in the bar and strike up an interesting conversation, all without having to deal with the 'downriver stare' or the middle aged frat boys spilling beer on you while they stumble over themselves getting to the next low cut shirt that walks through the door.

Motorcycle camping. Packing up the Ducati and making a trip across this great land, setting up camp only with what I have on my bike, and sleeping out under the stars is 10 times more rewarding than any hotel vacation.

Detroit Electronic Music Festival with my friends. It's the best place to get drunk out under the Detroit skyline with your friends while listening to the best electronic music and dancing a little, if you do feel so compelled.

Week long ski trips with my brother and whoever else decides to venture out into the mountains. It brings peace to me, and reconnects me with nature, and my brother and friends. It also allows me to participate in the only sport I'm REALLY good at - skiing. I lets me use my pricey equipment, too.

more to come...
