About Me

This is our music. We are not and will not be part of the biz and don't have to bow to it's rules. We are not here to "make money" or promote product. PERISCH try to make up for it by not sounding exactly like anybody else, but close. See, they use guitars, because they like them but THAT has been done before. But," the music?", you may ask... which brings us to the point which is really easy: they are influenced only by bands those names start with the letter "p", to simplify things. Peatles, Placebo, Plackmail - to name a few. Spelling is not one of their strong points, granted, but, you list that not too high in the things you want from a band, do you? Maybe it IS the lack of a proper formula that made them build their songs not one as the other, but the band thinks that would be less boring. If they had a proper management, their manager would certainly cane them for it because it makes marketing & classification a lot harder, sigh. But as they still have no management or a major label-deal ...they get away with it. If you really have nothing else to do, you can visit their site at www.perish.info and marvel at the less than stellar photos or download some tunes, some of which are really, really good for humming along.

Band Members: Breaking news! Ex-member confirms to take part in the new recordings! Most of the time we are three, we get additional members in for shows or tours - we prefer girls, the rest of the band behaves a lot better then. One is a guitarist by day, and a guitarist by night. A one track mind. He does occasionally work, mostly he plays guitar. Guess what, he plays guitar in this band and sings. A modded ESP, we talked him out of this cheap (insert brandname here). The thing wouldn't stay in tune for a minute. He has that unique knack on getting things for free - we are in constant awe where he got what. We are not that much in awe if he, again, gets one of our cables. The other one is a...errr...well, he sold fish lately. Exotic fishes - not for your plate, mind you. He once hat 40 or so fishtanks - the electricitybill...maaan! Allright, another one without a proper dayjob. So we could tour a lot. He sits behind the drums, doubles on guitar and bass. The other is a professional cartoonist and one of the fully booked kind. He owns a recording studio. This means: no bedroom thingy. You can turn up a 100 amp here full tilt and nobody complains. He plays bass and sings. People from the fanbase are regularly encouraged to visit rehearsals and play along.
