Band Members: My name is Sonny. I have been a drummer for most of my life, but also play a bit of guitar and other instruments a bit. I enjoy writing/recording songs in my spare time. These songs (except the Bowie and Dylan cover) I wrote some time ago but I have got a few new ideas.
Looking for a female vocalist or musician to sing some of my songs and also write some new ones together. I have home studio equipment for recording..You can find me too on www.myspace.com/sonnyflint I formed and played drums in a band called Usurpa in 1996 in an attempt to capture a Bowie-esque glam rock feel. Over the years I have been in lots of bands, some with major record deals and some just for fun. I have played drums on a few records. I have been on two BBC Peel Sessions and other radio. Some videos on TV. I play a bit of guitar and bass. I have recently taken up playing cello. Writing and recording songs. I am playing drums in 2 bands and conga's in one band right now. The Luckyband, 13Frightened Girls, and another new band. Here is a video clip with me with 13 Frightened Girls from 1991. The single was released on Stephen Street's Foundation Label. I look like I have never played a drum before!. Here is a clip taken with a friends camera of me with 13 Frightened Girls at a recent gig 2007 in the Strongroom Bar, London.
