About Me

In August of 2006, vocalist Matt and guitarist Eli had an idea to form a death grind band that wasn't just a generic metalcore band disguised with pig squeels and slam breakdowns. Too much of that has been springing up in the past year and it was just enough. We wanted to form a band with the heavyness of bands such as Devourment, Abominable Putridity, Dehumanized and Internal Bleeding, while at the same time incorperating our own personal musical tastes and influences which range from death metal, punk, hardcore, some jazz and even some indie.
Shortly after deciding on persuing the idea of this band, Eli and Matt met up with now former drummer Dylan and started writing music as quickly as the idea formed. In the first couple of months we wrote 4 full songs and recorded our first demo. Even though the recordings were sub par and we were still trying to find our established sound we released it. The demos were handed out at local shows and were sent to several webzines to be reviewed. Shortly after the demo was released we found current bassist Nestor and second guitarist Max.
We all expected the band to gain instant popularity since we were writing a new song at least every two weeks and we were given so many show opportunites in such a short time. Sadly we couldn't play these shows since we figured we weren't ready as a whole band yet and we wanted to be as tight as possible. Once we did establish ourselves and were ready however, we hadn't gotten any show opportunities and that started slowing down the bands progress.
Shirts were ordered inspite of our lack of shows, thinking that there were people that liked us enough to request shirts, we figured that they would sell so we ordered 50 shirts which are currently unavailable. We released 3 new tracks earlier this year which are currently the tracks up. Shortly after the third track was put up, which is entitled "new track", drummer Dylan left the band due to lack of progress and lack of shows.
Currently we are in search of a new drummer and are looking to start fresh as a fully established deathgrind band. If you play drums in NYC and are able to play our songs, hit us up and well see what's up. For more details on that check our blog. You can download our first demo on purevolume, there is a link on our page for that, and you can download our early 2007 demo right here on this page.
