About Me

Born of great folk and reared on the south side of Chicago, music has always been part of Toni's life. Her soundtrack began at an early age with Straight Ahead Jazz, Bebop and swinging Big Band records at family barbecues; sounds from Motown & Philadelphia at home & neighbors' parties; Gospel, R&B, Disco, Pop, Funk, Chicago House (some of the singingest folks you'll ever hear), Soul & original Hip Hop.Over the years, Toni has studied music theory, piano, guitar, voice, commercial and animation voice-over. She lives/works in LA, has recorded on several different projects and performed with some wonderfully gifted and accomplished musicians in Jazz and R&B.Performances are posted as they occur and three original tunes are featured on this page in demo form. (Big hugs to Tracy Marlow, who co-wrote "Love is Calling" & "Someone"). Toni will be including them in her forthcoming album. Until then, stay tuned & enjoy!I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
