VerJ'ah Shorter was born in sunny Los Angeles, California, where she was titled with uniqueness (Verjeigh). VerJ'ah was a beckon of true greatness even from the womb. She has been performing spoken word for 10 of her 19 years and has accumulated 100's of works which she has finally chosen to share globally a huge change from her usual intimate settings at local open mic nights. VerJ'ah attains much of her inspiration for fellow poets as well as the harsh, comical and beautiful aspects of life and existence. She is currently a rising junior at Hampton University and hosts a break threw spoken word segment for a local rising television show "The Spot which airs Saturday mornings (3am), on cable fox channel 43.
