****UPDATE!Well, it's happened again, but this time I've lost the love of my life, and it hurts like HELLHEIM itself! It will take me a long time to get over losing Stevo as my partner, but it is my hope and wish that he and I stay good friends.So what now? NOT looking for another relationship right now. Been in three in a row and am emotionally exhausted! Just looking for really good mates, laughs and some fun. I sincerely hope that one day someone will be able to bring me out of the slump that I'm currently in, but until then, please don't be surprised if I hold back and don't commit myself as much as you might normally expect. This is simply my heart's way of trying to protect itself from another piercing blow; like the one I've just had. *****As for things about myself, firstly, I'm a guitarist (classical and Electric) of some 20+ years experience, and still as enthusiastic about it as I ever was. I'm an old school player classically, and my biggest influences have to be Andr?s Segovia, Julian Bream and Pep? Romero. It's just my opinion but, having a monster technique means nothing without the depth of feeling and expression to back it up. That is, sadly, an all too rare viewpoint these days though. On the Electric guitar I LOVE to hear the instrument played well! That's why my idiols are Yngwie Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore, Steve Vai and George Lynch. Those guys are just awesome!I'm also a former Black belt in ITF Tae Kwon Do. I studied with Master Kim Stones in Doncaster, and despite some very bad publicity that he has received over recent years, I feel I was taught well. I also had a blast doing it. My personal instructor during that time was the astonishing martial artist, now turned film actor and stuntman, Scott Hinds (http://www.scotthinds.com/). He gave me such a beautiful vision of what Martial Arts could be about and fueled my thirst for excellence in so many ways and I realized that there was more to it than beating the other guy senseless. It is a view that I still hold.As for my other interests, they are diverse and possible a unique mix; which is my way of admitting that I'm possibly quite weird! hehe First off, I'm a Norse Pagan and have been since my mid teens. My faith is often a source of extraordinary strength and comfort. Also I am a HUGE scifi fan and LOVE things like Star Trek, Star Wars, Highlander, Babylon 5, Sapphire and steel and many others. I also enjoy SPACE 1999 and can often be found watching that with my fella, who is a fan of astounding knowledgeability about the series! I'm also quite a big sports fan and support the Boston Red Sox Baseball and New England Patriots American Football teams.Anyway, that's about all I can think of for now. I'm sure I'll have missed stuff, but it's always the way. Still, hopefully I've given everyone a little glimpse into what makes me tick.
