MUCHO TRABAJO...POQUITO DINERO...

About Me

I'm a Preacher's Kid. I'm proud of this for 2 reasons:
1. I am able to recognize when someone is fake.
2. I have insight into a lot of "inner-workings" most people never get to see in a church. Like, how to start one.
Me and my little brother were 2 of 4 congregation members back in the day, with my mom rounding out the music section and my dad preaching, bilingually in Spanish and English, marathon style. Oh yeah. Maybe this explains why I don't go to church now...
I'm more of an optimist than a pessimist. Didn't used to be like that.
Chocolate milk, macaroni and cheese and green chile stew have the ability to turn my day around. I love to eat. Good food, that is.
Very open-minded. Just not open-minded to ignorance, if that makes sense. I don't appreciate people that hate, nor do I appreciate the racial climate this country has recently (or not so recently) adopted.
I tend to be very opinionated. If you don't want me to be honest, then don't ask. I have hurt people's feelings on many an occasion, and not because I'm a bitch. I don't think, anyway...
I have an obsession with good music. Not necessarily any particular genre. If I can dance to it, sing/rap with it, play it on repeat for 2 days straight and not be sick of it, then I consider it good. Or great. I have lots of favorites, but my all-time favorite song is "Dy'er Maker" by Led Zeppelin. Yet, I focus much of my musical attention on hip-hop. The real kind. Not this Chingy/Bow Wow/Akon bullshit. And you know what song I love to hate? I let it rain. I clear it out. I let it rain. I clear it out. I let it rain. I clear it out.Chicken Noodle Soup. Chicken Noodle Soup. Chicken Noodle Soup with a Soda on the side.
Yeah. Ew. Kinda.
Playing the piano was a passion of mine for many years. Kind of an ulterior motive on my parents' part...they wanted a church pianist. I was really good, too. It's been a minute since I've played, but from what I've been told it's like riding a bike...which is strange, because I would think it would be nothing like riding a bike. I taught for 3 years and loved that aspect of it. It's true that you learn a lot more when you're teaching.
I'm no video game aficionado like my brother, I do love old school video games though. Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter...all games that don't require 360 degree turning within the game. I'm easily disoriented. Not to mention, the one time I tried to play Halo with my brother, he murdered me within 5 minutes. That's not fun for me.
I've been told by numerous people that I laugh like Jennifer Lopez. I actually do. It's kinda weird.
I love to dress up and look pretty. Doesn't happen too often, but I like to do it. My roommate and best friend has shown me the light and helped me appreciate the "assets" I have...something I haven't appreciated ever in my life. And since my grandmother is a breast cancer survivor, I figure I should let em shine while I've got em. And please believe, in the right light, they SHINE.
My friends are very important to me. The real ones. I don't have many real ones, but the ones I have are amazing.
Not one to be interested in sweet talking, playalistic, "Yo ma, can I holla atchu?" type individuals. I'm sure there are plenty of women who think this is cute, I mean shit, there have GOT to be women who think this is cute, otherwise douchebags wouldn't try that angle. I, however, am not one of them. I don't entertain douchebaggery, and will call one out if I see one.
Definitely not one to put energy into hating on other women. If you're beautiful and confident and know it, good for you! So many women try to attain that by breaking others down to uplift themselves...I'm not one. I do tend to get negative attention from females, but I think it's the titties. Yeah, it definitely is.
Anything else you want to know? Probably not. I covered everything I'm willing to share in a public forum...Home | Browse | Search | Invite | Film | Mail | Blog | Favorites | Forum | Groups | Events | Videos | Music | Comedy | Classifieds
