About Me

At this point I am 45 years into the journey of my life and believe myself to be one of the luckiest men ever. I met my wife, Andra when I was racing BMX at the age of 18 although she was then 21. She says the moment we met she fell head over heels in love, but as for me, I was still in love with the idea of being a kid. I lived at home with my folks and pretty much worked when I wanted to. We married on my 21st birthday, October, 1st, 1983. By the time I was 22 I was a dad to our oldest son, Jerrett and by the time I was 25 our son Ian had been born. Then, at the age of 30, Dylan was born but, before his 4th birthday he lost his life in a house fire... something we still struggle to come to terms with. Over the years we've had alot of ups and downs. I've made some poor decisions and even bigger mistakes, but through it all I knew she was always there and always would be...or so I thought. One day she was gone. It took me three days to discover where she'd gone, one week to figure out why she'd gone and another six months to get her to come home. Since that time I feel like I've finally found myself and have fallen in love with this woman all over again. We welcomed our 4th child and only little girl into the world six years ago and just this year I became "Papa" to a beautiful grandson, Eshiah. I am a proud "Papa", a very proud parent and most of all, the luckiest husband.
