Books:
A Widow for One Year is my favorite. Vonnegut's cool, too. When I read something not school-related (like this case where these funeral directors kept a guy in their freezer for longer than they should have, and weren't able to adequately thaw him before the closed-casket wake, so they hacked off his arms so he would fit in his coffin, and his widow decided she HAD to see her late husband one last time and opened the coffin...come on, you know you want to laugh. I did.), it's usually something current event-ish and sensational, like this:
