"I'd rather wear out than rust out!"
My late Grandfather's response when asked
why he walked so many miles per day at his age."Every day we're standing in a time capsule,
Racing down a river from the past,
Every day we're standing in a wind tunnel,
Facing down the future coming fast"
Dad gave me a bass and an amp when I was 10.
THANKS DAD!
Family,
job,
and band/music keep me pretty busy.

BTW: I've become convinced after 40+ years of having bass(es) to play/abuse that I prefer:
Set neck or neck-thru
Thunderbird body shape
Humbucking pickups
Steinberger(1980's synthetic) body & sound stability
Not Alembics(had one, too fragile on stage:neck flex)
The above rules go out the window if the bass was made by a Japanese company called "Greco". See BASS pics...
