The Maladjusted formed from the result of sobriety relapse in 1995. Although they only lasted until 1999,
they played and conquered the Lower East side and Abc No Rio. Many shows consisted of bands like Distraught, Awkward Thought, No Redeeming Social Value, The Skizmatics, Kaboom, The Skabs, and Asstroland (who they derived the name Maladjusted). They sold demos for a dollar or in trade for Country Club 40's or a dime piece.
Some give credit to The Maladjusted for bringing punk and hardcore back to AbcNoRio. Some say they are the lost band of the 90's, and some hope that one day there will be a one show reunion...
The only things that there true fans can say is that, they played with glory, they played with passion, they played to friends, and most importantly they played drunk and high...
Although they have all moved on to different things such as shoe making, and blunt smoking. The legacy of "The Maladjusted", will never be forgotten...
